Taking a Chance on Love
Often compared to Cassandra Wilson and Diana Krall, vocalist Jane Monheit took the jazz world by storm with 2000´s Never Land while still in her 20s. With the help of a four-piece ensemble, Monheit performs live at the 2004 Brecon International Jazz Festival in Brecon, Wales. The one hour set features 12 familiar songs including "Dancing in the Dark", "I Won´t Dance" and "In The Still of the Night". With her distinct vocal style, Monheit gives new life to these romantic old favorites from the MGM musical era.
